After a room or space has been designed, it falls to those on-site to implement the designs chosen. This is where the theoretical becomes reality and all of the innovating of the design team is finally seen in concrete, wood and glass. At Ramsey Hardwood Floors, we have over 50 years of experience between all of out crew leaders. Whatever challenges or innovations your project presents, chances are that we’ve addressed these obstacles before. If we haven’t, we have the experience to problem-solve and find a solution to see your dream become reality.

Hardwood floors or even custom hardwood countertops have a lasting lifetime. We will be here for any resanding/repairs or maintence questions you may have. Residential floors typically need to be resanded after fifteen year (of course subject to use). Commercial properties depend upon use and how they are maintained. The story behind the name, well it all started with Josh Ramsey. He has always had an exceptional eye to detail and loved creating things with his hands.
Josh got his start in the wood flooring trade in 2002 as a helper with Phillips Hardwood Floors in Bozeman. In late 2003, Josh, moved to the Seattle area where he went to work for Salisbury Woodworking. Working for one of the premier wood flooring & timber framing companies in the Pacific Northwest, Josh gained knowledge & skills that allowed him to take over a Crew Leader position in 2004. The big city didn’t hold his heart like Montana, so in 2005 he and his family moved back to Bozeman (where they grew up) so they could start Ramsey Hardwood Floors.
